Go to the fire escape stairs. Once outside the property, do not go back inside - wait for the fire brigade at a safe meeting place opposite Tanner Street entrance in Woodlawn Street.
ALL EMERGENCIES
An Emergency Plan card will be given to each resident and an Emergency Evacuation Plan posted on each stair door highlighting the Exit stairs.
AGAIN - DO NOT use the Lift during an emergency.
New comers to this building may be unaware that this building had a major fire in April 2007. It does happen and it is important o know the exits. On that occasion the building was closed down to residents on level 4 & 5 for 3 weeks after the fire was extinguished.
